About
Local news, built for NoMi
NoMi News is a local news and events website for North Miami, Florida, with proposed coverage across North Miami, North Miami Beach, Miami Gardens, Opa-locka, El Portal, Miami Shores, Biscayne Park.
What we publish
We focus on source-linked community reporting, local events, and practical information about the cities we cover. Readers will be able to browse stories and events as our reporting is published.
Editorial standards
Human approval is required before publication. Future AI-assisted discovery may help draft a review queue, but automated publishing is out of scope. Public-safety alerts will remain informational and source-linked — never invented emergency messages.
Current status
NoMi News is preparing its first public stories and event listings. We publish only material approved by our editors. The NoMi Weekly email signup is not active yet. Please check back for updates.
